DownerEDI Rail PPP Project - Treestone is currently supporting DownerEDI Rail on the RailCorp PPP project providing solutions for a range of areas including:

Fleet Management Facility System: Treestone developed an Operational Concept Document (OCD) using Functional Flow Block Diagrams (FFBD) followed by a system specification (based on MIL-STD-498) and functional decomposition to a series subsystem specifications. Treestone also developed a Software Systems Management Plan compliant with ISO/IEC 12207:1995 (Software Lifecycle) and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Std 1058-1998 (Software Project Plans) for development of the system software.

A-Set Design: Treestone developed the train's internal and external software interface requirements and design. This included development of a data model for the train with tools for generation of the message definitions.

ICT Strategies: Treestone developed Information Communications Technology (ICT) capability and architecture management strategies for the project covering the design and development and through life support phases of the contract.

Through Life Support : Treestone developed a Systems Assurance Plan implementing Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) Standard 632 for the Through Life Support phase of the PPP contract.

Safety: Treestone is involved with managemetn of the Through Life Support (TLS) System Safety program and has developed a TLS Safety Management Plan and prepared a Safety Assurance Report covering through life support of the Trains and the Maintenance Facility.
